The ViB Story
While in the movie and TV business, two producers, Travis
Hollman
and Johnny De La Valdene, were observing the effects
of caffeinated
beverages on their crew. The crew was prone to hectic lifestyles
and
high levels of stress.
From
this, the founding members of ViB (vibe) began
to observe the
energy drink market and noticed a different untapped
avenue. The
thought occurred, Why are there no drinks that
alleviate stress from
the body and allow it to use its own natural energy, to positively
affect
the body? With this thought, Johnny and Travis hired
SMUs research
team, to explore and test this theory. The results were amazing.
What
we found:

25% of the population cannot
tolerate caffeine.

The
market for functional beverages is projected to grow
from 20 billion to 30
billion within the next two years.
~3.
According
to Coca-Cola surveys, 29% of population is looking
for a relaxing
drink.
~4.
96%
of the people surveyed by SMU said they would drink
something if it would
reduce stress.
~5.
Bars
and distributors are actively looking for an alternative
beverage to promote
and sell.
Using
a carefully tested taste profile, along with professional
packaging concepts, ViB Vacation in a Bottle
was created.
At
this point, it was time to approach investors. The idea was
to
involve high profile people that could help launch this product
through the media. Jason Witten, Donnie Nelson,
Marco Rivera,
and many others, have personally invested and believe in this
company.
To
complete our strategy, we decided to launch ViB (vibe)
locally in
Dallas through Andrews Distributing. Barry Andrews
and his son
Blake Andrews, have put a team behind our product that
we believe
will make ViB an unparalleled success.
We
see only great achievements in our future.
